Also, there is a “Lost & Found” office that’s open almost every hour in case you misplace your bag, luggage or anything you want to take with you to your destination. From Monday to Friday, the center is open from 08:30 AM to 00:00 AM, and also from 01:00 AM to 04:00 PM. During the weekends and on public holidays, this center is closed. However, if you lose your belongings on the plane, you are directed to contact your airline. You can find this “Lost & Found” office on Rental Car Centre (second level).
Yes! You are entitled to free Wi-Fi usage as long as you’re around the FLL Airport facility. You can check whatever you need to check or perform transactions on your gadgets while you just relax and wait patiently for your flight.
Sorry, there’s no smoking area in Fort Lauderdale International Airport, but there are other great ways to relax at the airport facility.
In any of the four terminals, you can store your baggage and belongings. They’re open from 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM.
If you also wish, you can wrap your luggages at the airport before you board the plane. To get this service, you can check Terminal 1 (daily from 06:00 AM to 03:00 PM), Terminal 3 (daily from 05:00 AM to 09:00 PM), and Terminal 4 (daily from 06:00 AM to 10:00 PM). Broward County Transit provides bus transportation services at Fort Lauderdale Airport. Its Route 1 links the airport with different stops along Fort Lauderdale, and it’s indeed easy to get transported by bus to locations close by.
If your plan is to go to another location entirely, you can catch the TRI-RAIL – COMMUTER TRAIN. It could even take you to Miami, Palm Beach, Dade Counties or Broward if you please. The airport offers free transportation for anybody who wants to go from FLL Airport to Fort Lauderdale Hollywood Airport Station, located at Dania Beach.
It takes you just 10 minutes or below to get a taxi that can also take you to Miami or Palm Beach because there are many taxi operators licensed to perform at Fort Lauderdale Airport Florida. Since cab fares are regulated by law, you can generally expect to get charged about $19.00 for a trip downtown.
You can also get transported privately to the location of your choice. All you have to do is book a transfer.

You can get transported between the airport’s terminals with the courtesy shuttles. These courtesy shuttles run between terminals to the Economy Parking of the airport and to the Rental Car Center as well – all for your convenience. You can get this service from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
